February Gardening Tips

We are having such a mild winter here in the South East that you might be tempted to start some gardening jobs a little early. I've been slightly tempted myself but have a niggling feeling that the weather might well still turn on us yet, please keep in mind that the Great British weather can be a fickle friend to the gardener and try to refrain from going too spring crazy.

February is the time to prune back Wisteria's and conservatory climbers. Winter flowering shrubs should be cut back once they have finished blooming and all shrubs should be fed with Chicken Manure.  Chicken manure provides Nitrogen, Phosphorus
